Ahmedabad is the capital city of Gujarat which is situated on the western part of India. Ahmedabad is situated on the bank of the river Sabarmati where Sabarmati Ashram started by Mahatma Gandhi. This stands as an evidence of Gandhi's Independence Movement. Ahmedabad is a cultural centre of the country with a number of museums, monuments and religious sites populating the city.
