Motor Vehicles For Your Business: Loans or Leasing?

Thus, one must make sure that it will be suit for the purpose it will be given. Also, the form of financing you choose to pay for it is an important issue. Thus, deciding between obtaining a loan or to lease must be done carefully.

Both financing through loans and leasing have drawbacks and advantages that need to be pondered in order to decide which option is most suitable for the business' situation. Analyzing thoroughly the options that you business has will let you make a conscious decision and save thousands of dollars in the long run either by obtaining a suitable loan or by getting the flexibility leasing provides.

Motor Vehicle Loans

With a motor vehicle loan you purchase the vehicle by using the money obtained from the loan and though the loan may be secured with the vehicle, it still remains your property. Thus, any risks ran by the vehicle will affect you and you alone. However, if the property is affected, the lender's security is also affected.

Motor vehicle loans provide affordable monthly payments that can be higher or lower depending on the loan amount, interest rate and repayment schedule of the loan but can always be negotiated to obtain affordable installments. In the long run, motor vehicle loans are less onerous than financing through leasing programs.

Financing Through A Leasing Contract

Leasing is a combined contract that uses certain loan characteristics and certain rent characteristics too. It is basically a program with which one party rents a vehicle which remains the property of the financial company (that can purchase it from a third party in order to close the leasing contract if it doesn't produce the vehicles) and at the end of a certain period of time, the vehicle's property can be transferred to the other party and the monthly payments can be computed as part of the purchase price. The remaining amount must be paid to the financial institution in order to complete the transfer.

Leasing provides a fair amount of flexibility as the monthly payments can be lower than loan installments and the vehicle remains property of the financial institution which implies less tax pressure. However, the costs in the long run are higher because when the leasing period is finished, in order to get possession of the vehicle you'll need to put a fair amount of money down.

The decision of whether to lease or purchase with a motor vehicle loan is really up to you. You need to ponder the advantages and disadvantages of each alternative and only when you are certain that you'll benefit more from one of them you will be able to decide without having second thoughts later. In order to do so, you'll have to consider all loan and leasing terms and analyze them comparing them to the business' needs. As a final tip, if you'll need to change the vehicle in a short period of time, leasing is the smartest choice, but if you plan to keep it for a long time, a motor vehicle loan will probably be the cheapest and most sensible choice.

A Different Tale of How the West Was Won - "Cattle Country and Back Trail," by Erwin A Thompson

In his cycle of over a dozen Westerns, author Erwin Thompson paints a moral universe in which good, humor, and wit triumph and love unites and conquers all.

Thompson originally started writing Westerns after reading every one he could get his hands on. After this extensive immersion, he decided it would be just as entertaining to write his own. And, so he did. As a gas pipe fitter that couldn't work outside on rainy and snowy days, he found writing in the corner of the locker room during the company's officially declared inclement weather days just about perfect.

I first heard these stories as a child. My father's three children waited eagerly for the next installment to be read in front of the living room fireplace. We thrilled to their characters and plots. Through my father's generosity, we became plot consultants as well as his audience. This training in "What do you think should happen next? What would this character likely do?" was wonderful training for us in our own writing, reading, and just plain living. Grandchildren enjoyed this tradition when their time came. "I always wanted to be a cowboy," my father once told me. In these stories, he rides range as God meant him to.

Recently, we began to revisit this cycle of Westerns when I returned to the homeplace for extended periods to stay with my parents, now 90. We read them as bedtime stories. This time around, I am the reader and my father and mother the listeners. What remains is that all three of us--audience and reader--still thrill to the plots, characters, and turns of phrase in these graceful and compelling books that just seem to get better with age.

These two linked novelettes--Cattle Country, Back Trail --are stories the entire family will enjoy. We are pleased to hand them from our family to yours. The good news, when you get to the last page, is that there are more stories to come in this absorbing cycle that tells a different tale of how the West was won.

Chicken Fajitas With Peaches - The Perfect Summer Recipe

There was a knock on my door the other night. As I looked through my peephole, I saw my neighbor, Jessica, holding a bowling ball size plastic bag of peaches and plums. She and her husband grew up here in West Los Angeles and both sets of parents have fruit trees in their back yard. "We have so much," she told me. "Would you like some?"

Loving summer fruit, I said, "Sure, I'll take a few!"

"Uh...you don't understand. Ben and I have a whole BIG bag of fruit in the house. This is for you, if you'd like them."

You mean this wasn't the BIG bag? I certainly wasn't going to turn her down, so I happily took the fruit. Now, what the heck was I going to DO with all of it? Basically, it's just me and Bobby, my other half. Oh, and my cat, Moe, who, if offered the choice of eating fruit or being snuffled by a German Shepard would seriously have to think about it. Actually, so would Bobby.

This would mean I'd have to eat it or cook it. It just so happened that I had taken out a few chicken breasts to make some fajitas that night. I looked at the ripe peaches. I looked at the fajita ingredients. I looked at the peaches. Why not? I had to change some ingredients to make everything fit, but this is what I came up with. I think the recipe is the perfect combination of refreshing fruit and spicy Mexican flavors. Have fun with it. Try cilantro to the onion mix instead of using the thyme on the chicken, if you'd like. Get creative! I won't mind. Really.

How WordPress Plugins Can Help You Promote Your Blog

WordPress plugins are among the most popular tools that bloggers use today. They extend the functionality of the blog, infusing more features in a matter of seconds (for others, it may take minutes) and simply make a blog more appealing and enjoyable to readers. Instead of overhauling a blog just to accommodate a function that one might like to include in his site, all that he needs to do is to install plugins, and voila, his desired added functionality is now found in his blog. Plugins clearly extend a blog's functionality, and are among the coolest tools available that can help promote one's blog.

There are now different WordPress plugins that were specifically created to help promote a blog. These plugins allow a blogger to optimize his blog and to promote it in ways unimaginable. WordPress plugins make use of social media to help increase the visibility of a blog.

The Digg This button is one famous plugin that can be seen in a majority of blogs today. This button helps the content of the blog to be seen in various social bookmarking sites. This then contributes to a much greater exposure for the blog.

The WP to Twitter plugin is another one that appeals to many bloggers at present. This tweets automatically any new blog posts made on the site. Hence, instead of spending time tweeting new posts, the WP to Twitter plugin will be the one to do it. Of course, this still needs to be installed, but it will be a one-time setup and installation and for as long as it is found on the blog, it will continuously tweet any new posts made.

For comments on the site, the CommentPlus plugin will surely work best! It would allow readers to make comments on an article using their Twitter, Facebook or Google ID. And the good thing about this is that comments of readers are also automatically posted on their own accounts. So there is a big possibility that their friends would see the post, get interested on the topic, and simply click through.

And for those who started to write a blog before promoting it, a special Tweet Old Post plugin can be used. This will automatically go through old posts and tweet them. This results to more exposure for the site and more traffic too.

With these great WordPress plugins available, promoting a blog becomes a cinch. Utilizing these plugins would mean more exposure for a particular blog, but with less effort and more "relaxed" moments for the blogger. All he would do is sit back and relax, and watch as his blog's traffic increases.
